I got a small crack across my windshield last week after a stone hit it on the highway. It started getting bigger after a cold night, so now I’m thinking about replacing the whole windshield. I’ve never had to do this before. What does windshield replacement usually cost in the US?
I had mine replaced a couple of years ago after a similar situation. The price can be pretty different depending on the car, windshield type, and where you live. Mine was somewhere around $300, but I know some newer cars can cost more because of extra sensors and technology. I’d probably get a couple of quotes before deciding.
