I’ve been looking for more online communities where people can share conversations about culture, creativity, lifestyle, and everyday experiences without everything feeling overly commercial.

I recently came across the name Melanin Nation while looking through communities and resources online. I’m curious if anyone here has come across it before or knows of similar communities worth checking out.

What do you usually look for when deciding whether an online community is actually worth joining—active discussions, useful resources, or simply people with similar interests?
