I am trying to get my team off Slack and Discord because I do not feel comfortable with third parties holding all our conversations. I have been looking into self-hosted options, but most of them seem outdated or require a lot of technical work to set up. I want something modern, with group chats, private messages, and good mobile support, but that I can run on my own server. Is there a solution that actually looks good and works well without being a nightmare to deploy?
