My 2016 S5’s transmission downshifts are way too aggressive – can this be adjust

So I’ve had my 2016 S5 for about a year now and overall I absolutely love the car, but there’s one thing that’s been bothering me the whole time I’ve owned it. The transmission downshifts are incredibly aggressive, especially when I’m slowing down in traffic or approaching a roundabout. It feels like the gearbox is constantly trying to engine brake for me, and it downshifts so early and so firmly that it almost jerks the car forward when it changes down. I’ve tried driving in all the different modes, comfort, auto, dynamic, and even individual with the transmission set to the softest setting, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference. It’s actually quite uncomfortable for passengers because the car is always lurching slightly every time it downshifts, and I find myself having to use the paddles to override the automatic downshifts just to make the ride smoother. I’m wondering if this is just how the S5 is tuned from the factory, or if there’s something that can be adjusted through software or adaptation to make the downshifts less aggressive. I’ve been doing some research and found a place where I can Find out more about certified transmission overhaul in MBZ City, and they seem to specialize in Audi transmissions so I’m thinking maybe they could help with this. Has anyone else found the downshifts on their S5 too aggressive, and were you able to get it adjusted or reprogrammed to be smoother? I don’t want to make the car less sporty overall, I just want the downshifts to be a bit more subtle when I’m just driving normally in traffic. Would really appreciate any advice from people who’ve dealt with this.
