What Makeup Looks Best in Photos?

I’ve been experimenting with different makeup looks for photos and noticed that some finishes look much better on camera than they do in person. Matte colors seem more consistent, while anything with shimmer or reflection can look quite different depending on the lighting.For anyone who takes profile photos or event pictures, what kind of makeup finish has worked best for you? I’m particularly curious about whether Metallic lipgloss tends to photograph well under indoor lighting, or if it creates too much reflection. Would love to hear what others have noticed.
