ParticipantI head out to Mexico next week for a surfing competition and I’m super stoked about the whole trip. It’s my first time visiting the country so I definitely plan to explore some local historical spots when I’m not hitting the waves. The board and gear will just stay at the hotel while I travel around to see the sights. I need a reliable vehicle to get around the area comfortably during my free days. Where can I find a decent local company to get a ride for the whole stay?

ParticipantThat trip sounds like an absolute blast right now. Those coastal areas have some crazy good spots to chill out after hitting the water all morning. A standard mid-size SUV handles the local terrain perfectly and keeps your daily gear secure while you grab food. The big chain spots like Alamo have offices right near the tourist zones with pretty straightforward insurance policies.

ParticipantA break from the waves to check out the ancient ruins is a very smart move. Those big chain places can hit your credit card with massive deposit holds that take weeks to drop off. You can rent a car in Mexico here https://getrentacar.com/en-US/mexico . The site hooks you up directly with local owners who list their rides for flat rates. You lock in the exact price online so there are zero hidden fees at pickup.
