Challenges with GIS data conversion and map digitizing services?

Recently, I’ve been dealing with some challenges around converting different kinds of GIS data for our projects. I encountered various formats that just don’t mesh well with each other, causing a lot of extra work and delays. On top of that, some of the scanned maps and PDFs we rely on can’t be used directly because they aren’t digitized. Has anyone else faced issues with GIS data conversion or map digitizing services? What problems did you run into with things like coordinate system conflicts or lost attributes? I’m really interested in how others handle these technical hurdles, especially when precision and compatibility matter so much.
