I manage a small fleet of pickup trucks for a maintenance company operating around the Musaffah area, and I’ve noticed our vehicles are picking up chips and scuffs at a rate that honestly seems way faster than what I’d expect on a personal car, which makes sense given how much rougher the routes are and how often these trucks are parked at active job sites with debris around, but now I’m trying to figure out if investing in proper film protection is actually worth it for work vehicles that already take a beating regardless, or if that money’s better spent just accepting the wear and touching up paint periodically instead, does anyone have experience protecting fleet or commercial vehicles specifically, because I imagine the calculation might be different compared to someone protecting a personal car they’re trying to keep pristine for resale value, while looking into options I found some information on paint guard installation Musaffah Industrial Abu Dhabi which seemed convenient given that’s basically the same area most of our trucks operate out of daily, does film protection actually make sense from a cost perspective when the vehicles are going to face this much abrasion anyway, or does it mainly help slow down the rate of visible damage rather than actually preventing it outright, also is there a difference in how long protection lasts on a work vehicle facing constant exposure to job site conditions compared to something driven more gently, I don’t want to invest company money into something that ends up needing replacement almost as quickly as unprotected paint would show wear anyway, so if anyone’s actually tried protecting commercial or work vehicles and can speak to whether it made a meaningful difference over time, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience before deciding if this makes sense for our fleet.
