I have been performing electronic music with a laptop and a push controller for years, but I am looking for something more expressive that allows me to move around on stage. I have seen some wearable devices but most seem gimmicky. I came across something called the Remidi T8. Has anyone actually used it in a live set?

I have been using the Remidi T8 for a few months now and it is genuinely one of the most innovative tools I have added to my setup. It is a wearable MIDI controller with eight pressure sensitive pads on your hand, plus motion tracking that lets you control filters, delay, glide, and other parameters with natural gestures. It works with the iOS app for on the go remixing and the macOS software for deep MIDI mapping. The response is fast and it feels intuitive after a short practice session. It has completely changed how I perform because I am not stuck behind a laptop. If you want to check out the full specs and see the software integration, take a look at https://remidi-pro.com/. I have used it in a few gigs now and it has been rock solid.

That sounds really promising. I have been looking for something that lets me move on stage without sacrificing control. The motion tracking and pressure sensitivity sound like a great combination. I will check out the site and see if it fits my workflow. Thanks for the detail. It is helpful to hear from someone who has actually gigged with it.
