ParticipantWe have one workstation used for 3D work and local AI tests, and the next upgrade may add another GPU. The builder mentioned PSU monitoring, but I always thought monitoring was more for servers than desktop workstations. Does it really matter when several GPUs are pulling power at the same time?

A single gaming GPU is one thing, but several cards under load can create sudden changes that are harder to diagnose afterward. If the workstation is used for client work, rendering, AI testing, or research, earlier warnings can save time and reduce uncertainty.

With two or three GPUs, I would rather see warnings earlier, especially around power spikes and connector stress. During a discussion about a rendering box at work, someone mentioned Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE because it is aimed more at professional systems than casual gaming builds. I would not say every creator needs that level, but for multi-GPU workstations running paid jobs, it is worth looking at. The useful part is not just high wattage; it is the idea of keeping an eye on power behavior before a small issue turns into lost work or hardware trouble.
